Parents in Wolfforth and the surrounding communities have access to a unique educational resource for young students in the Tas Montessori School – where children can grow and learn under a trained and certified Montessori teacher in an authentic AMI Montessori environment.

“The Montessori approach is designed to help the children build within themselves the foundation for a lifetime of creative learning,” explains Tasleem H. Mirza, Certified Montessori Directress and owner of Tas’ Montessori School. “The goal is to provide a solid foundation upon which the child can reach his or her fullest in all areas of life.”

Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early part of the 20th century, the Montessori Method is an organic method of instruction which allows children to learn more naturally and happily. Like all Montessori schools, Tas’ Montessori features a specialized environment where children of different ages and abilities work together, and older children can help guide the younger ones. The classroom is divided into different areas for specific activities, and all materials are arranged sequentially on the shelves and introduced to students according to their development level.

Tas Montessori School is open to children ages 2½ to 6. Please call to inquire about enrollment, telephone (806) 783-0054.  Parents are welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit to see the classroom and learn more about the Montessori Method. Tas’ Montessori School is located at 502 N. Dowden St., Suite 100-101, in Wolfforth.
